Pipefitter Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join our team for an upcoming onshore shutdown project in Teesside. Our company, Wood, specializes in providing maintenance and shutdown services to the oil, gas, and industrial sectors, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems and associated equipment.
- Ensure the efficient functioning of piping networks during the shutdown period.
- Work in a fast-paced shutdown environment, utilizing strong problem-solving skills and excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Adapt to changing project requirements and work in shifts as needed.
- Hold relevant pipefitting qualifications/certifications and possess comprehensive knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter in industrial environments, preferably within the oil, gas, or related sectors.
- Relevant pipefitting qualifications/certifications (such as NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) in pipefitting, plumbing, or a related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Valid certifications/licenses required by UK regulations for onshore shutdown projects.
