NPI Project Engineer Opportunity

CV Library is seeking a highly skilled NPI Project Engineer to join our client, a leading Engineering company in the UK. The organisation has a strong presence in the industry, employing over 250 employees across the UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out new business development projects, supporting Project Managers, and implementing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) when required. Additionally, they will project manage internally and externally through quotation stages, sourcing, design, development, and launches into the Production facility.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, with knowledge of reading 2D & 3D CAD Drawings, Welding processes, and Plastic Industry experience (Plastic Injection Moulding). Experience in using AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Project Management, and knowledge of IATF 16949 are desirable.

This is a rare opportunity for a NPI Project Engineer to work for a UK leading Engineering company that is actively growing and working on prestigious projects. The company fully supports career progression within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out new business development projects to support Project Managers
  • Implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) when required
  • Project manage internally and externally through quotation stages, sourcing, design, development, and launches into the Production facility
  • Liaise with third-party companies to help with tool development design and related matters

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Engineer

Desirable:
