About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join our Science team at the Joseph Wright Centre. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver inspiring and effective teaching, learning, and assessment to enable students to make excellent progress.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • A relevant degree in Physics or a related subject.
  • A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd).
  • Experience of teaching Physics to students of varying abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary ranging from £29,841 to £40,080 for qualified teachers.
  • 49 days holiday (inclusive of 8 bank holidays and 6 closure days where these occur, pro rata).
