About the Role

As a Clinical Functional Assessor, you will engage with individuals through telephone and face-to-face interactions, exploring their health conditions and how these impact their daily lives and ability to work. You will gather relevant medical histories and social backgrounds to create a comprehensive view of each individual's situation, ensuring every detail is noted for the assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate how physical and mental health conditions affect an individual's capacity for work
  • Apply your clinical skills to gather relevant information and create detailed reports
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with individuals, promoting a supportive environment throughout the assessment process

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience, including 2 years holding registration with the NMC or HCPC
  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in MS Office and Teams
  • Active registration with the NMC / HCPC with no restrictions on practice
