We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dordon. As a key member of our Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of our advanced machinery and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance to keep our machinery and systems in top shape.
- Work closely with Inbound, Outbound, and support teams to enhance machine reliability and overall performance.
- Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.
- Analyse data to find innovative solutions that boost our automation performance.
- Uphold the highest safety standards in all your maintenance activities and inspections.
We are looking for a strong technical expert in automation hardware and software, preferably in an FMCG environment. This may include (but not limited to) qualifications such as HNC Engineering, relevant degrees with practical application, Engineering Technician Apprenticeship, Manufacturers PLC training, and NVQ 3-level electrical and/or mechanical skills.
Key Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse data effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with your team and other departments.
- The capability to perform hands-on engineering tasks in a physically demanding environment.
