The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Product Development Assistant to join our busy NPD department. As a key member of our team, you will be integral in assisting in all aspects of range development from concept to launch, including design brief, research, trends, packaging, and fragrance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and updating project admin and presentations
- Sampling, including mock-ups, artwork laydown, and sign-off
- Create and compile development comments, critical paths, and bill of materials
- Liaison with suppliers, factories, and satellite offices
- Attend and set up trade shows
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Accurate attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
- Immediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced FMCG environment
- Educated to degree level
- Minimum one year's experience in a similar role, ideally in FMCG/Luxury Goods market, preferably toiletry/home fragrance/gift market
- Friendly, helpful, and polite with a 'can-do' attitude
