About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at Godiva Lodge in Coventry. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met and their experience is enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals to residents, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Assist with food preparation, including cooking, cleaning, and storing food.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the Chef Manager to ensure menu planning and food preparation meet resident needs and preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding to their dietary needs and preferences.
Requirements
- Level 2 food safety certificate.
- Health and safety procedures, including COSHH.
- Previous catering experience, with knowledge of basic food safety and safe use of knives and kitchen equipment.
- Experience working with older people.
