Role Insights

As a Tax Compliance Specialist within our Private Assurance team:

  • You will manage intricate tax assignments and projects, taking charge of your own client portfolio with guidance from the Manager.
  • You will enjoy a level of independence in your work delivery, while support will always be available when needed.
  • You will prepare tax returns and calculations for Manager review, adhering to established timelines.
  • You will engage directly with clients, cultivating a trusted advisor relationship and providing exceptional service.
  • You will oversee the tax return process for your clients, proactively managing your portfolio and prioritizing daily tasks.
  • This position is vital to our private tax operations, and we will ensure you have opportunities for learning and development to uphold our high standards.
  • You will be a proactive and valued member of a specialized team, with the chance to build an internal network within the tax department and broader practice.

Are You the Right Fit?

To join us as a Tax Compliance Specialist, the minimum qualifications required include experience in UK Personal Tax, A-Levels or equivalent, strong grades in Maths and English GCSE, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. While the following qualifications are desirable, we are committed to supporting your development:

  • CTA (or in progress) or ATT qualified.
  • Self-motivated and driven.
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines and manage expectations.
