Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Process Engineer - Chlor-Alkali to join our team in India. As a key member of our Process Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of Chlor-Alkali facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of Chlor-Alkali facilities, including process design, equipment selection, and specification.
  • Review and approve Engineering Contractor's process engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with approved engineering design criteria.
  • Coordinate the detailed design review of the facility and monitor the status of contractor's Process Engineering deliverables.
  • Ensure the delivery of project deliverables, including PFDs/UFDs, HMB, equipment sizing, selection, and specification.
  • Identify issues with Engineering Contractor's design and help clarify areas of complexity during all phases of the engineering design work.
Requirements
  • A recognized Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Considerable experience of Process Engineering experience in EPC and/or operating industry.
  • Engineering leadership role and 10 years of Chlor-Alkali experience in design and/or operation.
  • Excellent understanding of chemical engineering principles of heat transfer, vapor-liquid equilibria, mass transfer, and thermodynamics, and their general application to process design.
  • Extensive experience with major regulations and industry codes and standards affecting standard design, quality, or processes.
