We are seeking a highly skilled Ocean Freight Coordinator to join our team at WR Logistics. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods by sea, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate import and export consignments via sea freight, from origin to destination
  • Provide freight rates, quotes, and pricing solutions to clients
  • Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, merchant haulage, and various carriers
  • Track and update shipment statuses in our system and provide regular updates to clients
  • Complete customs entries and clearances, ensuring compliance with import regulations and trade compliance laws

Requirements:

  • End-to-end Ocean Freight Operations knowledge
  • Working knowledge of the International freight forwarding industry
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and the wider team
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify problems early
  • Proactive and professional approach
