39-hour work week, with hours from 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3:30pm on Friday.

Essential Requirements:

• Full clean driving license.
• NVQ Level 3 in Joinery or equivalent experience.

As a Carpenter at Great Places, you will undertake a variety of responsive maintenance tasks.

Your role will ensure that customers' homes are left in a safe, clean, and well-maintained condition; delivering excellent customer service is at the heart of the Great Places repair service.

You will strive for high productivity to ensure that jobs are completed effectively on the first attempt.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve first-time fixes through accurate diagnosis and multi-trade skills.
• Build effective relationships with suppliers and work remotely using a mobile device.
• Respect customers' homes, ensuring they are left clean and safe.
• Engage with customers with respect and empathy.

Qualifications:

• Certified in City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Joinery.
• Experience working in domestic settings, preferably in housing.
• Familiarity with repairs scheduling systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

You should possess the capability to perform basic functions of other core trades to support first-time fixes and ensure value for money.
