Job Summary: SR2 is seeking a highly skilled Android Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth security assessments and penetration tests on Android applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Android App Security: Conduct thorough reverse engineering of Android applications, focusing on Java-based apps, with native code experience being a significant advantage.
- Platform Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of the Android platform, including its security frameworks and mechanisms.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on Android applications, ensuring they meet the highest security standards.
- Security Expertise: Apply knowledge of critical security areas such as authentication, data protection, encryption, identity management, and secure data transfer/storage.
Consulting Expertise:
- Project Management: Manage and execute projects independently, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Analytical Proficiency: Exhibit rigorous attention to detail and advanced analytical capabilities.
- Communication Skills: Write comprehensive test plans and reports based on initial analysis and team collaboration.
- Team Collaboration: Work efficiently within a large codebase, contributing to a multidisciplinary and multinational team with minimal supervision.
- Professional Experience: Bring 3-5 years of relevant experience within a fast-paced, enterprise consulting environment.
- Language Skills: Demonstrate excellent command of both written and spoken English.
