Relief Nursery Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Relief Nursery Manager to oversee nursery operations at various settings around Bournemouth. As a Relief Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, educational, and fun environment for the children in our care. You will supervise children, ensure their safety, and organize activities such as games, crafts, and educational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage nursery operations, ensuring high standards of childcare and education.
- Supervise children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Organize activities, games, and educational tasks to promote learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with children, staff members, and parents.
- Develop and maintain the nursery budget.
- Conduct interviews for potential applicants.
- Monitor the condition of the facility and equipment, arranging maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Update parents and carers about their child's progress and behavior.
- Answer enquiries about enrolment, payments, and practices.
- Develop and implement an age-appropriate program of annual events and activities.
- Prepare the nursery for Ofsted inspections and follow inspector recommendations.

Requirements
- A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
- A solid knowledge of the EYFS.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
