Key Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge and welcome customers in all areas, providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.

  • Collaborate with the hosting and wider casino team to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Prepare, cook, season, and present casino menus to the highest standards, adhering to recipe guidelines and quality control procedures.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the venue, following all HACCP and safety guidelines.
  • Report any defective equipment or systems to the head chef or duty manager, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Manage stock rotation, ordering, and usage to minimize stock and financial losses, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Seek feedback from customers and front-of-house teams to continuously improve food quality and exceed customer expectations.
  • Adhere to a 'clean as you go' policy in all food preparation and service areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and potential late shifts.
