About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Operations Manager to join our team at Sovereign & Bale. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the day-to-day performance and delivery of our team, including Support Workers and Supply Chain Partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the Hub and Pop-Up (where applicable), ensuring effective risk management, timetabling of activities, and reporting of incidents to the Regional Manager.
  • Line Management: Provide guidance and support to Hub staff, monitoring and managing attendance and performance, and identifying training needs for continuous professional development.
  • Performance Management: Ensure all team members are accountable for timely, accurate, and high-quality data input onto CATs+, the commissioners case management recording system, and drive achievement of programme objectives.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build, manage, and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to ensure a steady flow of referrals, including Probation, Commissioned Rehabilitative Service (CRS) providers, approved premises, and courts.
  • Contract Compliance: Ensure contract compliance expectations are met on a monthly basis by setting targets/expectations for frontline Hub delivery staff and managing them against the Performance Management Framework (PMF).
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrable experience of successfully achieving targets, leading and coaching a team, and driving success in a challenging and target-driven environment.
  • Performance Management: Experience of effective performance management, including setting targets, monitoring performance, and providing guidance to team members.
  • Data Analysis: Experience of working with data, including data entry, monitoring, and analysis to drive performance.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to motivate and engage others.
