About the Role: As a Workshop Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing plant equipment, as well as completing inspections and modifications. Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Maintaining and repairing plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Completing regular inspections and modifications to prevent equipment failure and downtime.
  • Disassembling and overhauling machines to identify and repair faults.
  • Repairing hydraulic and electric systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Carrying out post-repair tests to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
  • Diagnosing and repairing machine components to prevent equipment failure.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with heavy plant and machinery.
  • NVQ level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance.
  • Knowledge of auto-electrics and electrical systems.
  • Experience with welding and oxyacetylene equipment.
  • Workshop tooling experience.
