Join Ross Care, a leading provider of healthcare services, as a Band 6 Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist in our Wheelchair Service team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Band 6 Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing the mobility needs of adults and children with complex needs, and prescribing manual and powered wheelchairs with associated posture management and pressure management accessories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the mobility needs of adults and children with complex needs
  • Prescribe manual and powered wheelchairs with associated posture management and pressure management accessories
  • Work with clinical and operational colleagues to deliver contractual service performance of a high quality
  • Liaise with service user groups and other stakeholders to facilitate joint working and identify opportunities for improving service user outcomes
  • Provide support for internal and external training programmes, including apprenticeships and student placements
  • Undertake and document all necessary risk assessments and corresponding risk management
Requirements
  • Registered with the HCPC as an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Clinical Scientist, or registered as a Nurse with the NMC
  • Hold a full current UK driving licence for a manual transmission vehicle and be willing to drive Ross Care vehicles (vans) as necessary
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
