Job Description

Trilogic Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day accounting tasks for multiple small businesses, while also contributing to the overall growth and improvement of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT returns in both Xero and QuickBooks, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Reconcile banks, accounts payable and receivable, to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Complete corporate tax returns as well as personal tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Comply with financial policies and regulations, ensuring the practice remains compliant and up-to-date.
  • Contribute ideas and participate in initiatives to improve our processes and expand client services.
  • Share in administrative and office duties to ensure efficient operation.
Required Qualifications:
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA).
  • Proven experience as an accountant, with comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software and MS Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a small or medium-sized practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple client accounts.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a close-knit team.
