**Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading FM Service Provider in Watford. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out plumbing, mechanical, and fabric maintenance tasks in a commercial building setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on lighting systems, including installation, fault-finding, and replacement of lamps and ballasts.
  • Conduct emergency lighting inspections and maintenance.
  • Carry out air conditioning and air handling unit maintenance, including filter changes and cleaning.
  • Reset chillers and perform water treatment tasks, including temperature checks and dosing.
  • Perform plumbing tasks, including unblocking toilets and maintaining pumps and motors.
  • Monitor and maintain Building Management System (BMS) and UPS systems.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical qualification, such as City & Guilds Level 2 & 3.
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  • Good communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Immediate availability or ability to start at short notice.
