Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at West Midlands Hospital, part of Ramsay Health Care UK. The successful candidate will work closely with our Physiotherapist to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Physiotherapist in the delivery of patient care, including preparing patients for treatment and providing support during sessions.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, working collaboratively with the Physiotherapist and other healthcare team members.
  • Provide administrative support, including maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues to the Physiotherapist.

Requirements

  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
