- Support the development of technical BI skills across the wider Insight & Analytics department, including SQL, Azure datafactory, and Azure stack modules, and Power BI.
- Work with analytical teams and business users to develop high-quality data models for reporting and dashboarding purposes.
- Manage metadata repositories to support development pipelines and processes.
- Ensure data quality across the Azure platform and work with regional partners to resolve data quality issues.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of work within the team or project team, ensuring timely delivery and resolving day-to-day issues.
- Provide specialist advice and guidance on own portfolio of projects and analytical areas.
- Work with team members to investigate causes of variance from target/plan and contribute to the implementation of solutions.
- Demonstrate a detailed understanding of financial planning and budgeting, and assist in developing business cases and negotiations with companies.
- Support and inform teams on the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementing, evaluating, and delivering plans.
- Evaluate projects/functions within identified portfolio for delivery against financial recovery/savings plans.
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with Azure Data Environment and BI reporting software.
