Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the development and maintenance of our entire Twickets platform, which includes backend systems and multiple web and mobile consumer and business front ends.

The successful candidate will be a key member of our technical team, responsible for defining and building new features, leading on the build of some features, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and build new features
  • Lead on the build of some features, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime
  • Assist with live operations, including cloud environment management
  • Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, applying knowledge to improve our platform
  • Mentor and guide other team members, promoting knowledge sharing and growth
  • Be flexible and adaptable, managing multiple streams of work and prioritizing tasks effectively
Required Technical Experience
  • Development of web service-based applications, using Java and other languages
  • Experience with Spring Boot and other common frameworks and tools, such as Lombok and Maven
  • Writing unit tests and ensuring test-driven development
  • Angular Framework and end-to-end testing frameworks, such as Playwright
  • Relational databases, such as Postgres, and experience with AWS services, including S3, EC2, SNS, SQS, Lambda, SES, ECS, and Code Pipeline
  • Git version control and agile process using software tools, such as JIRA and Bitbucket
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Linux, shell, administration, and programming
Desirable Experience
  • Project Reactor or similar framework and Apache Cassandra database
Other Skills and Experience
  • Understanding of good user experience in web or mobile applications
  • Proactive approach and excellent self-organization skills
  • Ability to propose innovative solutions and work outside of comfort zones
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Competence with essential everyday office systems and software
Location and Remuneration

This is a remote job, with a requirement to attend London regularly for pre-agreed meetings with the team.

Salary varies by experience, in the range of £60-85k plus benefits.
