Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our Capital Design and Delivery team, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative technical design solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement standard design templates for Control Panels with high volume outputs for major waste water and clean water projects.
- Undertake feasibility evaluation and assessment for projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes of practice.
- Lead the design process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs and specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Qualified in electrical engineering with a strong background in design and a professional qualification.
- Experience working with standards and codes of practice, with a proven track record of providing designs and specifications for commercial negotiations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people.
- Forward-thinking innovator, capable of anticipating challenges and responding to change in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Ability to make educated judgments and decisions in the face of ambiguity, with a good grasp of the bigger picture.
