Private Client Tax Manager Opportunity

Pro Talent is seeking an ambitious individual to join our Private Client Tax team in Bury St Edmunds as a Manager or Director, subject to experience. The successful candidate will have significant previous Private Client Tax experience and will head up the Private Client Tax team, working closely with the Partners and the rest of the team across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of private clients, reviewing self-assessment tax returns completed by other staff, and providing guidance on all aspects of Personal Tax compliance work.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies for high net worth individuals and families, business owners, company directors, land and property owners, entrepreneurs, retirees, and family trusts.
  • Lead a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations, ensuring that the team is aware of any new developments and can provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience of managing a portfolio of private clients and reviewing self-assessment tax returns.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement tax planning strategies for a range of clients.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of tax professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
