About the Role

We are seeking a talented Civil Design Engineer to join our growing civils team at the Structural Engineering Alliance Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering highways and infrastructure projects for a diverse range of clients and sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use the latest design software to create and manage designs, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Ensure projects are appropriately resourced, delegating work to team members, programming deliverables, and monitoring progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects from initial scheme concept through to detailed design and construction stages.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of industry design standards, including the Manual for Streets.
  • Provide solutions to challenges and work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Manage workload efficiently, utilizing good time management and organizational skills.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, possessing excellent spoken and written English.
  • Travel across the UK to visit sites and other offices, holding a full UK driving licence.
