We are a managed service provider, Round Peg Solutions, who have exclusively partnered with an exciting Aerospace company to handle their entire recruitment process as they search for a Production Controller to join them on a long-term contract basis. They manufacture revolutionary technology supporting the ever-growing advanced air mobility sector out of their state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly check material availability and raise work orders while ensuring work packages are ready for production.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Engineering, and Supply Chain on Bill of Materials (BOM) and SAP item master setup/maintenance.
- Support Planners, Industrial Engineers, and the Production Team for SAP data collection and data analysis (Cycle time, Scrap, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) etc.).
- Maintain stock levels on shelf-life items and bulk materials within the organization to ensure optimal inventory at all times.
- Support other Planners and Planning Leads for their daily planning activities and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) measurements.
- Support in setting up work to lists, pick/shipping lists, and automate where possible.
- Display a self-starter attitude with energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a small business environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- A flexible approach to work.
