Job Description

To ensure the successful completion of projects, we are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support the Project/Site Manager in the efficient management of onsite activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a focus on safety, quality, and cost control. They will be responsible for managing activities on site, ensuring compliance with company policies, legislative requirements, and operating processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Induct employees on site, ensuring compliance with contract delivery processes
  • Manage site records, risk assessments, and progress monitoring
  • Liaise with the Quantity Surveyor on valuations, change control, and cost management
  • Work collaboratively with the management team, design team, and commercial team to ensure smooth site operations
  • Deliver initiatives within the local community in support of the client's strategic objectives

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the construction industry
  • Competent work organiser with strong communication skills
  • Financial awareness and ability to minimise costs
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety requirements
  • Relevant CSCS card, SSSTS, and driving licence
