Our Business
We operate in the specialist capital equipment rental market, providing innovative solutions to the food and pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors.
Our equipment plans for the future include additional ESG elements, such as wind turbines, EV charge points, battery storage, and heat recovery.
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced sales leader to join our team as Head of Sales.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, with experience in building new business relationships and winning new business across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive sales strategy, driving growth and revenue.
- Consultative Approach: Employ a technical, consultative, solutions-based sales approach, focusing on customer needs and delivering value-added solutions.
- Client Engagement: Engage with key accounts, build strong relationships, and support the sales team through regular national travel.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and driving results.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and drive growth through innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Proven Sales Leadership: Experience as Head of Sales, National Sales Manager, or Sales Director, ideally within a specialist capital equipment rental business.
- Industry Insight: Experience in selling specialist machinery to food or pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors is highly beneficial.
- Business Acumen: Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to analyze data and drive business decisions.
- Leadership Qualities: Positive communication skills, exceptional leadership, and the ability to cultivate and enhance our team culture.
- Strategic Thinker: High intellectual capacity with a proactive, common-sense approach.
- Customer-Centric: Willingness to be customer-facing and driven by opportunities to grow the business.
- Energetic and Resilient: A self-starter who is energetic, creative, resilient, and tenacious.
