Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified domestic gas engineer to cover the HP postcode area, carrying out maintenance and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local housing association contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)
  • Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems
  • Ensuring a high level of customer care is met on a day-to-day basis
  • Following all Health & Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records
Requirements:
  • Gas qualifications held for a minimum of 2 years
  • Experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills
  • In-date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)
Benefits:
  • 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Additional overtime and weekend work available, paid additionally
  • Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided
  • Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum
  • Monthly bonus up to £200.00
  • Out of hours call out rota, 1 week in 4, paid at £400.00 plus price per job
  • OTE £45,000+ per annum
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Pension Scheme
