At Power Control Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out UPS associated AC & DC electrical installations, battery maintenance, and new battery installations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertake UPS associated AC & DC electrical installations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Perform battery maintenance and replacement tasks, including building and installing new batteries as required.
  • Provide technical support to UPS engineers, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective problem-solving.
  • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of safe working practices on site, particularly with high-voltage AC and DC equipment.
  • Adapt to changing job priorities, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to completing tasks within prescribed timescales.
  • Collaborate with customers, showcasing excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral, and computer literacy.
  • Complete all documentation related to site visits in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Comply with all requirements defined in the Employee Health & Safety Handbook, Employee Handbook, and Engineer Performance Standards.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • C&G 2365 level 3 Electrical Installations certification.
  • 17th edition IEE Regulations (C&G 2380) and (C&G 2391) and (2360) knowledge.
  • Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft packages.
  • CSCS or ECS card holder.
  • Minimum 5 years of electrical installation experience.
  • Ability to operate remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Driving license.

Working Hours and Remuneration

40 hours per week, including out-of-hours on-call rota and weekend work. Competitive salary plus Westfield Health Cashback scheme.
