About the Role

Mitsubishi Power Europe, Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Customer Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Support Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our customers, resolving complex technical issues, and supporting maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide daily technical assistance to customers, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Steam Turbines, Gas Turbines, Generators, and Control Systems.
  • Maintenance Support: Support maintenance activities, including planning and execution phases, to ensure the reliability, availability, and safety of our customers' operating assets.
  • Engineering Support: Collaborate with the Engineering Team Leader to develop and implement engineering solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Quality Management: Develop and revise Quality Management procedures as required, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Travel and Work Schedule: Travel to customer sites approximately 50% of the time, and be willing to work off-hours and weekends to support emergency issue resolution.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with a focus on Steam Turbine design, operation, repair, service, installation, or commissioning.
  • Experience: Experience in developing and writing specifications and/or proposals, with a strong background in customer service and technical support.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and simulation software.
  • Language: Fluency in business English.
