Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Asset and Planned Maintenance Developer to join our team at Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture. As a key member of our planning function, you will play a crucial role in developing and monitoring the construction programme, ensuring compliance with our planning standards and HS2 requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Senior Planning Engineer/Planning Manager in developing the Asset Structure, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), calendars, and dates to be used by our team.
  2. Contribute to the development of cost and resource loaded construction programmes during ECI Stage One, ensuring timely submission in accordance with delivery milestones.
  3. Ensure the Construction programme meets all required access dates, milestones, and key dates in compliance with the Employer's Planning requirements, contract data, and works information.
  4. Assess programme risks and develop mitigation measures, working closely with other functional teams, including BIM, design, estimation, and construction execution.
  5. Interface with the client's construction planning team, stakeholders, and other works packages to communicate our Construction Planning approach and share best practices.
  6. Pursue excellence and continuous improvement of our Construction Planning approach, modifying standard processes and procedures as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant professional qualification.
  2. Prior experience in planning functions in civil engineering projects.
  3. Knowledge of Asset structures, Planning Standards, WBS, and Planning processes in a BIM environment.
  4. Competence in Primavera P6 and Tilos.
  5. Knowledge of Safety, Environment, and Risk Management.
  6. Strong communication skills.
