The Hygiene Technician will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of plant and equipment within the Allied Bakeries facility. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Hygiene and Sanitation: Develop and implement effective hygiene procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular visual inspections of plant and equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to Allied Bakeries' safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Education and Certifications: Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and a strong understanding of hygiene SOPs.
- Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or facilities maintenance role, preferably in the food industry.
