About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Material Planner to join our team at Permanent Futures. As a leading global FMCG business, we are well-established in the market for our market-leading products that are used by millions of people every day.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management of the supply chain function, working closely with the Planning Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our materials and packaging planning processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of the Material and Packaging Planners
  • Leading the businesses materials and packaging portfolio
  • Stakeholder management with customer service and supply issues to ensure they are appropriately communicated both internally and externally
  • Train and develop the team, manage and develop team KPIs
  • Provide cover for the Planning Manager as/when required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with Materials Planning, ideally within food manufacturing
  • Experience in managing or supervising teams
  • Ability to communicate with Internal and External Senior Stakeholders
  • Experience with requirements for BRC and customer standards
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
