The Position

As a relief support practitioner, you will be a vital member of our team, ensuring that we maintain high standards of care and assistance during periods of staff training, vacations, and unforeseen absences.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist individuals with disabilities and/or additional support needs in various aspects of their daily lives, including but not limited to shopping, managing finances, cooking, household chores, and personal care. Additionally, you may engage in various recreational activities with the individuals we support, such as arts and crafts, gardening, cinema outings, dining experiences, swimming, social events, and leisurely walks.

What We Require From You: -

A nurturing and empathetic demeanor Strong listening abilities Excellent communication skills A proactive attitude towards learning Proficiency in computer usage

Previous experience in care is not a prerequisite for joining our team, as we prioritize values and transferable skills. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the practical knowledge necessary for this role. We will compensate you for your training and support you in obtaining your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification.

Work Schedule

We offer continuous support around the clock, seven days a week, which means our work schedules may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays, sleepovers, and/or waking nights.
