Job Summary

PE Global is seeking a highly skilled Medical Education Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Education Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering and facilitating education to healthcare professionals, with a primary focus on obesity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Educational Strategies: Design and implement effective educational strategies and best practices to optimize the delivery and impact of educational programs aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work collaboratively with medical affairs, medical science liaisons, marketing, sales teams, and other cross-functional members to align on the learning needs externally with the strategic and tactical direction of the diabetes and obesity portfolio.
  • Develop and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders, and work across priority accounts to support key initiatives and objectives.
  • Measure and Evaluate Educational Initiatives: Utilize feedback and data analytics to measure the success of educational initiatives and make informed data-driven decisions to ensure the highest standards of educational quality.
  • Act as Medical Education Subject Matter Expert: Design and deploy local Medical Education initiatives, and champion Medical Education by leading/facilitating the delivery of high-impact medical education programs.
  • Communicate Complex Medical Information: Effectively communicate complex medical information in a clear and accessible manner, ensuring data is presented in an accurate, fair, and balanced manner.
Requirements
  • Deep Scientific and Clinical Knowledge: Deep scientific and clinical knowledge of obesity pathophysiology and treatment landscape, with clinical experience managing people living with obesity within NHS specialist weight management services or private weight management services highly desirable.
  • Experience in Delivering Quality Education: Experience in delivering quality obesity or cardiometabolic education, and using data to make impactful strategic decisions.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to independently make decisions within guidelines established by internal policies and external regulations.
  • University Degree and ABPI Code Examination: University degree (advanced degree in health sciences or Health Care Professional), and ABPI code examination (supported by Lilly if not already achieved).
  • Full Clean Driving License: Full clean driving license.
