Position Overview

The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is pleased to announce an opportunity for a 12-month engagement as a Senior Emergency Medicine Practitioner. The selected candidate will become part of a collaborative team comprising both Senior and Junior Emergency Medicine Practitioners, Trainee Doctors, and Emergency Nurse Practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

The primary aim of this role is to deliver advanced clinical support within the Emergency Medicine department, overseeing the activities of Junior Practitioners, both locally employed and from the primary employer, as well as Emergency Nurse Practitioners. The role also involves managing patient throughput in conjunction with the Nurse in Charge of the unit.

We are excited to provide a variety of enriching opportunities for dedicated medical professionals interested in Emergency Medicine to enhance their expertise in a dynamic and innovative environment situated in the heart of the community. The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated Educational Supervisor to aid in achieving necessary competencies.
