We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Physician to join our team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a leading provider of healthcare services in East Cheshire and West Cheshire and Chester, we offer a comprehensive range of hospital and community services, including acute and planned care, cardiac, critical care, child health, maternity services, and intermediate care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will contribute to the leadership, delivery, and development of our future Respiratory services, working closely with our existing Respiratory Consultants and Specialist Doctors. This is an exciting opportunity to develop, progress, and deliver sub-specialty services for Respiratory Medicine, including Pulmonary Oncology, Sleep and Ventilation, Tuberculosis and Complex Infections, and Severe Asthma and Airways Disease.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the leadership and development of our Respiratory services
• Deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our Respiratory services
• Develop and deliver sub-specialty services for Respiratory Medicine
• Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients

Requirements

• Full GMC Registration
• MB ChB/MBBS or equivalent
• MRCP
• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register via: oCCT (proposed CCT date must be within 6 months of interview) oCESR or oEuropean Community Rights
• Other postgraduate qualification e.g. MD, PhD
