People Source Consulting Ltd is collaborating with a prominent player in the Engineering sector to recruit skilled Stress Engineers for a significant project.

If you have a background in stress, vibration, or heat transfer analysis, we are eager to connect with you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct stress analysis utilizing advanced finite element and classical calculation techniques, along with supporting testing efforts.
  • Execute heat transfer analysis, both theoretically and practically, employing analytical correlations and complex finite element methods, as well as addressing topics in thermodynamics, single and multi-phase flows, and energy systems.
  • Offer technical oversight to engineering teams operating across various time zones.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Validate requirements and ensure compliance with project and product standards.
  • Engage in risk management and process development activities.
  • Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in performing thermal and stress analysis on turbomachinery, gas turbine engines, motors, or similar components and systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in all forms of heat transfer, thermodynamics, thermal sciences, and two-phase thermophysics.
  • Proficiency in various analysis types including linear static, nonlinear/elasto-plastic, fatigue (HCF & LCF), modal, shock, harmonic, random vibration, and crack growth analyses.
