Trunk Road Casualty Reduction Manager Role

About the Job

Vital Human Resources Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Trunk Road Casualty Reduction Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital part in reducing road casualties and improving safety across the trunk road network in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective strategies to reduce road casualties and improve safety on the trunk road network.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, local authorities, and other organizations, to share best practices and coordinate efforts.
  3. Conduct thorough analyses of road safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  4. Design and deliver training programs for road users, including drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists, to promote safe behavior.
  5. Work closely with our team to ensure that our efforts are aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in road safety and casualty reduction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of road safety legislation and regulations.
