About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Personal Assistant to support an individual with Williams Syndrome and multiple heart conditions. The successful candidate will assist the individual in their daily activities, promoting independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the individual with daily tasks, such as shopping and running errands
  • Accompany the individual to appointments and activities
  • Provide support with personal care and hygiene
  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking
  • Encourage and support the individual's hobbies and interests

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift and move equipment
  • Enhanced DBS check and First Aid training

Desirable Qualities:

  • Experience working in a community-based setting
  • Knowledge of social care principles and practices
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
