Ingeus UK has been entrusted with the Health Assessment Advisory Service contract for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) across various regions. This initiative is set to provide essential assessments aimed at understanding the impact of health conditions on individuals' daily lives.
We are excited to present opportunities for qualified healthcare professionals to join our team as Clinical Evaluators, focusing on Personal Independence Payment assessments (PIP) at Ingeus UK, part of the global human services provider APM Group.
As a Clinical Evaluator, you will leverage your practical experience as a healthcare practitioner along with your critical analysis, objectivity, and logical reasoning skills to support vulnerable individuals in our society.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough PIP functional assessments to evaluate claimants' abilities to perform daily activities safely and consistently.
- Assessing the effects of chronic and multiple health conditions.
- Preparing comprehensive reports detailing claimants' functional capabilities with well-supported recommendations for the DWP.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a high standard of service delivery to our claimants.
- Contributing to the ongoing enhancement and excellence of health assessment services across the UK.
To qualify for the Clinical Evaluator position, you will need:
- A minimum of 12 months of post-graduate experience as a registered RGN Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapist, or Occupational Therapist.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- A solid level of IT proficiency, as you will be required to use various software and online tools for documentation and communication.
