Swimming Coach

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Swimming Coach to lead our swimming programmes for primary-aged pupils across our Trust and the local community.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver a pre-designed swimming curriculum as created by Swim England, adapting your teaching style to the needs of all participants.
- Support Pupils: Help students of varying abilities to develop water confidence and improve their swimming techniques.
- Collaborate: Work with our teaching staff and swimming assistant to support and monitor pupil progress.
- Poll Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of the swimming pool, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment.
- Minimum 2 years' experience teaching swimming lessons.
- ASA/Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification.
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or RLSS UK National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC).
- Level 3 First aid qualification.
- Poll Plant Operator Certificate.
The starting salary for this position will be determined based on the candidate's current skills and experience, and it may align with either Grade F or Grade G within the NJC pay scales.
Hours of work: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (30 minutes - Thursday)
