Omexom UK is seeking a highly skilled Transmission Design Engineer to join our team in Scotland. As a key member of our Transmission & Distribution business unit, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical infrastructures for a range of clients across the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop transmission overhead lines and electrical infrastructure for various clients
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and lead an in-house design capability to provide services to UK DNOs and TSOs
  • Support business development with new and existing customers
  • Manage design staff and ensure the quality of all design submissions
Requirements:
  • BSc/BEng in Structural or Civil Engineering with 15 years of OHL design and construction industry experience
  • Strong understanding of the latest OHL design practices, standards, and analysis software systems
  • Ability to take responsibility for all design elements of new build and refurbishment of overhead transmission lines
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
