We are seeking a skilled Payment Operations Specialist to join our team at Insignis Cash. As a key member of our Payments Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payments to partner banks and end clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payments, Faster Payments, Chaps, and Currency Payments with precision and efficiency.
  • Monitor and reconcile transactions to ensure platform and client account balances are aligned.
  • Identify and rectify issues, providing feedback on training, process changes, or technical development to prevent future errors.
  • Review team members' payment entries, interest, and platform-generated entries for accuracy prior to processing.
  • Monitor and allocate teams' workload, adapting to changing requirements.
  • Compile and allocate interest, fees, and other transactions to the Insignis platform.
  • Report weekly MI, errors, and issues, SLA Breaches to the line manager.
  • Contribute to process and technology changes to benefit processes, team, and bank relationships.
  • Mentor and guide team members in internal procedures and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of interest rates, calculations, and process changes.
  • Understanding of MS Excel.

Nice to Have:

  • Good knowledge of the clearing and settlement cycles for UK domestic payment schemes.
  • Understanding of PSR/PSD2 rules.
  • Changes required for Financial Services firms to comply with APP rules and CoP.
