Job Title: School Cook

We are seeking a skilled and experienced School Cook to join our team at Davenport Lodge Nursery School. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving healthy meals to our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase fresh ingredients and manage kitchen inventory
  • Prepare and cook meals for students and staff
  • Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff as needed
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
Requirements:
  • Experience in a school or nursery kitchen environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies
  • Food safety certification and knowledge of health and safety regulations
