We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Galldris Group. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for providing expert commercial management services on large and complex projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all costs related to large civil engineering projects, from initial calculations to final figures.
- Minimise costs and enhance value for money while maintaining required standards and quality.
- Provide commercial leadership to other members of the Galldris surveying team.
- Develop and maintain excellent client relationships, ensuring contractual requirements are understood and managed professionally.
- Produce concise, accurate, and timely commercial reports to the Galldris Board and clients.
- Adopt a proactive approach in all matters and ensure company procedures are understood and complied with.
- Support business development opportunities and manage the efficient closure of all matters, including final accounts and commercial disputes.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
- Membership of RICS, ICES, or CIOB.
- Working towards professional qualification status (MCIOB/MRICS) (desirable).
- CSCS Card.
- Current driving licence.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisational skills to balance and prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
