Skanska, a prominent name in project development and construction, is dedicated to fostering a responsible and inclusive environment that contributes to societal betterment.
In collaboration with Anglian Water, Skanska is on the lookout for a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to enhance our infrastructure division. This role is pivotal in executing the AMP7 Health, Safety & Wellbeing strategy, ensuring that our operations align with the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in formulating the Health & Safety strategy and action plans, ensuring comprehensive data collection, reporting, and follow-up.
- Collaborate with project teams to uphold safety standards, conducting site inspections and audits, and addressing any incidents promptly.
- Develop and implement Alliance policies and procedures, providing training to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practices.
- Organize and execute Tool-Box Talks, site briefings, awareness initiatives, and other communication strategies.
- Oversee the Health, Safety & Wellbeing resources and team, ensuring adequate support and development for construction management teams.
- Engage with key stakeholders and Anglian Water to foster a culture of safety competency throughout the program.
- NEBOSH Diploma.
- Graduate member of IOSH or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in Health & Safety management within the design and construction sector.
