We are excited to partner with a world-leading insurance company that is seeking a Commercial Underwriter in Leeds. Our client operates in over 20 countries and is renowned for its excellence, innovation, and customer service.

The company provides crucial financial protection to a diverse range of customers and offers attractive career development opportunities. With tremendous growth, the company has moved to a brand new, state-of-the-art office in Leeds City Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite renewal cases and collaborate with the Claims team
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the Technical department and the wider business
  • Provide excellent service to brokers, prioritizing renewals and mid-term adjustments
  • Get involved in ad hoc projects and make a real difference

While previous experience in Social Welfare/Care insurance is not essential, you must have some underwriting experience encompassing Property (Commercial or Domestic) and/or Liability. As a growing business that listens to and implements employees' great ideas, you'll have the opportunity to progress into various areas, such as Senior Underwriting, General Management, Technical, Compliance, Sales, and more.
