About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at The Recruitment Fix. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing a breakdown response service to our factory, as well as providing project support by designing and implementing electrical circuits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a breakdown response service to the factory, including diagnostic and repair work on CNC machining equipment.
  • Design and implement electrical circuits to support improvement projects.
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.
  • Specify and order parts as required.
  • Test electrical circuits to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Update Industrial electrical infrastructure, including distribution boards and consumer units.
  • Fault find electrical issues, including using CNC controls, Fanuc, Heidenhein, Siemens, and Allen Bradley.
  • Experience repairing CNC lathes, horizontal borers, 5-axis machines, ovens, and robots.
  • Project work involving electrical design and implementation.
  • PLC experience.
About You

We are looking for a Time Served Maintenance Electrician with at least 3 years post-apprentice experience. You will need to hold an 18th Edition Qualification (or equivalent/similar) and an NVQ Level 3 or ONC in Electrical Engineering.

You will be able to work on your own initiative, prioritise tasks effectively, and be flexible to the needs of the business. You will also be able to work calmly under pressure and be willing to work overtime as and when required.
